Phase Two: The Search

Nominate a Litigator

Who are the trial lawyers others call when the stakes are highest? If you know one — nominate them. And if that lawyer is you, tell us why.

Who Should Be Nominated?

We are seeking nominations of plaintiff-side litigators and trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill in the courtroom — preparation, advocacy, judgment, and the use of evidence. Practice areas may include employment law, civil rights, whistleblower matters, business litigation, consumer protection, mass torts, and other complex civil litigation.

Exceptional litigators come from many backgrounds and stages of practice. Some may be seasoned trial lawyers with decades of experience. Others may be earlier in their careers but have already distinguished themselves through courtroom advocacy, mock trial excellence, public service, or an unusual commitment to mastering the craft of litigation.

Self-nominations are welcome.

Confidence is not arrogance. Many exceptional litigators recognize their own commitment to preparation, advocacy, and the pursuit of justice. If you believe your work reflects those qualities, we encourage you to nominate yourself.

What We Are Looking For

Exceptional preparation and command of the evidence
Credibility before judges and juries
Willingness to challenge powerful institutions
A record of fighting for clients — not settling for less
Respected by peers who have seen them perform under pressure
Clear, compelling storytelling in the courtroom

Nominations come from peers — lawyers, clients, and others who have seen exceptional advocacy firsthand. Your nomination is confidential.
